What we collect

  • Account details: your name, company name, email address and a hashed password when you sign up.
  • Workflows: the steps and settings you create, and the data your workflows receive and send when they run (for example the body of a webhook request and the messages your actions send).
  • Run history: for each run, the time, the trigger, the result of every step and its duration.
  • Integration settings: the Slack incoming-webhook URL or other endpoints you connect.
  • Messages: what you send us through the contact form or by email.
  • Server logs: IP address, browser type and the pages requested, kept for security and troubleshooting.

How we use it

To run the service you signed up for: store your workflows, run them when they are triggered, deliver the actions you configured, show you your run history, and answer your messages. We also use server logs to keep the service secure. We do not sell personal information and we do not use your workflow data for advertising.

The summarize & classify step

The built-in AI step runs on our own servers. It produces a summary, a priority and a category from the text your workflow receives. Workflow data is not sent to a third-party AI provider and is not used to train any model.

Who else sees your data

Our hosting provider, which stores and processes data on our behalf; and the destinations you choose yourself, such as your Slack workspace or a webhook URL you enter. We disclose information to authorities only when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Account and workflow data are kept while your account is open. Deleting a workflow deletes its run history. Server logs are kept only for a limited period for security. Deleting your account in Settings removes your account, workflows and run history immediately; we keep only records the law requires, such as invoices.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal information by emailing info@visualflowbuilder.com. California residents have the rights described in the California Consumer Privacy Act; we do not sell or share personal information as defined there.

Security

Passwords are stored as salted hashes, all traffic uses HTTPS, and each workflow's webhook URL contains a long random token. No system is perfectly secure; tell us at info@visualflowbuilder.com if you find a problem.

Children

The service is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 16.

Terms of service

1. Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and VisualFlowBuilder. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you use the service for an organization, you confirm you may accept these terms on its behalf.

2. The service

VisualFlowBuilder lets you build workflows from triggers, a built-in summarize & classify step, conditions and actions, and run them manually or by webhook. We may improve, change or remove features; we will give notice before removing a feature you pay for.

3. Your account

Give accurate sign-up information, keep your password safe, and tell us if you think someone else has accessed your account. You are responsible for activity under your account.

4. Plans and payment

The Free plan is free. Pro is billed per seat, monthly or annually, by invoice, at the price shown on our pricing page when you upgrade. Invoices are due within 15 days. You can cancel at any time; your account returns to Free at the end of the paid period and no further invoices are issued. We will give at least 30 days' notice of any price change.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use the service to break the law, send spam, infringe others' rights, attack or overload the service or other systems, or try to access data that is not yours. We may suspend workflows that do.

6. Your content

You own your workflows and the data that passes through them. You give us permission to store, process and transmit that content only as needed to run the service for you.

7. Output of the classify step

Summaries, priorities and categories are produced automatically and can be wrong. Review how a workflow behaves with test runs before you rely on it for important decisions.

8. Availability

We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted. Webhook requests received while the service is unavailable may fail; the sending system should retry.

9. Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Ending the agreement

You can close your account at any time from Settings or by emailing us. We may end or suspend an account that seriously breaches these terms, after notice where reasonable.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Santa Clara County, California.

12. Changes

We will post changes on this page and update the date at the top. Material changes take effect 30 days after we post them.

Cookies

We use one cookie, flowbuildly_session, which keeps you signed in to the app. It is set only when you sign in, is strictly necessary, and is deleted when you sign out or after 30 days. The marketing pages set no cookies and we use no advertising or analytics trackers.
